Lovely Linens

There are certain items in the home that I always encourage clients to invest in. One of those items is linens. This week's Six Picks focuses on durable, quality linens that me and my clients stand by.

Repeat after me: Invest in quality sheets. Your bedding can affect the way you sleep and as you all are aware a bad nights sleep can impact your whole day. I had seen a lot of ads for Boll & Branch and had heard amazing reviews so I recently decided to buy my first set. I went with the Signature Hemmed Sheet Set in Mineral and to put it simply I am obsessed. They are durable yet soft and what makes them even better is that they get softer with every wash.

I’ve said on Instagram that I stand by Pottery Barn's Classic Organic Towels and I’m here to say it again. The name speaks for itself, they are a classic. I have tried so many different towels and continually come back to these because they have maximum absorption, they last, and they’re really comfortable. FYI - in the white color they also offer a Bath Sheet size which is perfect if you want more length and width in your towel.

I learned about Eastern Accents bedding during my internship a couple years ago and have been fascinated with their collections ever since. Eastern Accents make it easy to shop for a whole unique, picture worthy bedset for your home. (Show is the Indira Bedset)

For any of you living in a humid climate I had to include these Bamboo Sheets from Amazon. It’s rare to find a sheet set that’s comfortable in humid areas because most aren’t soft but that isn’t the case with these. They are temperature regulating and don’t hold moisture but give you the comfort of soft sheets. They’re available in 21 different colors!

I hate seeing a beautiful wooden table covered with a tablecloth but I love a good tablescape, do you see the dilemma? This is where a table runner helps. It gives me the chance to add some more linen to the table without covering it. I love the Catalonia Woven Runner from Serena & Lily. It’s woven abaca but has scalloped edging so it can work with a variety of table styles.

If you have a neutral color palette in your kitchen and are looking to add a pop of color, an easy way to do that is through tea towels. I usually go to Williams Sonoma to find them, like these Harvest Bloom Towels. They’re easy enough to switch up too!
